We want you to be happy with your purchase!
We accept returns and exchanges.
If you’ve changed your mind and would like to return your purchase, you may do so. Should you decide that what you’ve received isn’t quite right and you’d like to swap if for another item, that’s fine too.
You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 20 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 20 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return.
If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Alternatively, if it’s a swap you’d like, we’ve send out your replacement using our standard shipping method.

Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include, but not limited too: Personalised Year of Dates, Personalised birthday box, Personalised Month of dates etc…
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 service as standard for UK orders which takes approximately 2 working days.
You will get an email when your order is dispatched, we’ll aim to get your order shipped within 2 working days of receiving it.
If you need it sooner please get in touch – we’ll always help where we can.
We can’t guarantee to follow specific instructions left for delivery (ie leave in the porch/ring this number when you arrive) as this is down to the individual postal service.
For international orders we use Royal Mail international services. Timescales vary depending on your country due to distance and differences in customs processes.
It usually takes 12-16 working days to arrive, but can take longer.
We will refund any international order that has not arrived within 28 days, even during the global pandemic.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you.
You are responsible for any loss or damage during return shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
6. Customs and Courier charges
Following the UK leaving the EU, fees and charges have been experienced by customers within EU countries when receiving orders from the UK.
A Year of Dates will not reimburse any fees and charges applied to a customer by their local customs or couriers.
They are local charges and unfortunately A Year of Dates cannot predict, forecast or estimate any such fee, which is applied locally differently by each EU member state and courier company.
